Of all the activities that can be done in North Conway with kids, we cannot recommend enough to hike the trails and explore this state's limitless natural beauty.

Story Land has been a major NH attraction for over 65 years and continues to offer families a fun and exciting experience. It is the first children's theme park to entertain families with fantastic rides, shows and attractions. Story Land is fun for the whole family, but especially suitable for young children, quieter rides (with a few exceptions for thrill-seekers) and many interactive shows.
Several characters roam the park greeting guests and overseeing the excitement. Story Land's location and attractions make it both scenic and incredibly fun. Located only 10 minutes from North Conway in Glen, NH.

Santa's Village is an extraordinary must-see attraction for kids. Located in the White Mountains, Santa's Village is open year-round with shows, fun rides, reindeer, gingerbread cookies and of course Santa Claus.
Santa's Village is a local crowd favorite and definitely needs to be on your list. Kids can feed the reindeer, there are playgrounds scattered throughout the park and rides for all ages.
Santa’s Village is located in Jefferson, NH which is about 50 minutes from North Coway but well worth the trip.
During the Summer, Santa's Village has a water park so it makes it a good place to splash around too.

Speaking of splashing around, Kahuna Laguna Indoor Water Park is a great place for toddlers as well. Kahuna Laguna has slides, tubes, pools, waves, buckets, tree houses, fountains, an aquabrella, splash pad and much more. There's a number of attractions for kids of all ages.

This attraction is the White Mountains latest addition to our local attractions list. Open year-round, the Living Shores Aquarium is a great place to visit for adults and children. Some of the main exhibits include: the Tropical Walkthrough Aviary with tropical larikeets, reptiles and amphibians, the Freshwater Red Garra Touch Pool, the Otter Experience, the Ray Touch Pool, the Clownfish Exhibit, the Augmented Reality Sandbox and much more.

The Swift River Covered Bridge is in a quieter area of North Conway located off West Road. The bridge has nearby picnic tables and it a great place to explore next to the Swift River and walk across the covered bridge. The bridge is closed to traffic so you can take your time. There are picnic tables so you can have a picnic or simply take in the surroundings.

This recreation area has wide open spaces next to the Saco River, tennis courts and basketball courts as well as a sandy beach next to the river. This is a great place to enjoy the river and play in the water or just have a picnic.

The Conway Scenic Railroad is a staple attraction in the White Mountains with its historic train stations and vintage locomotives. Ride the trains on the local rail ways for a short trip through North Conway or take a longer excursion to the top of Crawford Notch and pass the Mount Washington hotel. This is an epic adventure with glorious scenery of the valley, mountainous terrain and the Saco River.

It really puts you in the center of the downtown with beautiful mountain views. The Harvey Dow Gibson Playground is full of excitement during the summer months with many children playing on the swings, slides and water fountains. Located next to the New England Ski Museum....there are benches in the park and a wood-chip dressing on the ground for soft landings.

Diana’s Bath is located about 1.5 miles from the village of North Conway in Bartlett. A series of small pools and waterfalls cascading over the smooth rocks along the Lucy Brook. Diana’s Bath is a great place for toddlers to explore and play. There is a short walk to Diana’s Bath (0.6 miles / 1.0 km) from the parking lot to the base of the falls. Enjoy an easy walk through the forest to this waterfall. Located within the White Mountain National Forest, this is a popular attraction for locals as well as visitors.

Jackson Falls is a popular spot to enjoy a 150-foot cascade of waterfalls. It’s a great place to sit and relax in and around the falls. Jackson Falls is located right off the road so it is easily accessible.
There is limited parking so get there early before the crowds.
